"On the shiny, reflective stage there are hardly any props and Elizabeth Gadsby’s costumes are sheer, minimal, nearly colourless. A bright white indoor cloud is generated by a fog machine. It looks both Renaissance-like and postmodern, appearing magically at the beginning, enfolding the dancers in a mist, and dispersing. Seventy-five minutes later, at the end, a rain of tinsel seems to be its denouement..“
